  A little about me, my name is Jaya, am a multimedia Bristish artist with my life and practice is Scotland. I got my Fine Art Masters from The Univiercity of Suderland in 2003 were we explored critical thinking and identity in history and contemporary art practrice.

I work with acrylics, oils, and dry mediums on paper, canvas, photoes stones slates and plastics.My work explores the "in-between"—moments of transition, memory, and emotional shifts—through expressive layering, recognizable forms, and mixed media techniques. Drawing inspiration from travel, music, and personal experiences, I create art that blends the familiar with the ambiguous, inviting deeper reflection.  As an artist, I focus on decoding snippets from the world around me, transforming fleeting ideas into tangible forms. Living with dyslexia has allowed me to embrace my unique perspective, viewing the chaos of everyday life as a canvas filled with meaning and messages. Each piece I create reflects my journey of understanding and interpreting the complexities of existence, inviting viewers to explore their own interpretations. Through my art, I aim to connect with others and reveal the beauty hidden within the messiness of life.
